Take Me To Church
As a Church, we are called to “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation”. As a ministry, we are called to transform the nation by the presence of Christ in the life of people, making witnesses for Christ. As a team, we plan events, and support activities that will proclaim God’s love to the community and world at large in accordance to our Christian faith (Galatians 6:3, Act 1:8, Galatians 6:9).
We experience oneness through our shared vision to see nations and souls transformed by the presence of Christ. Our mandate is to:
Go into the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation to ensure our brothers and sisters stand firm and hold to the gospel that was taught by Christ; to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit; and to seek ways of co-operation with social agencies to meet the needs in our community.

Pastor Bowale Akins
Senior Pastor
Pastor Bowale Akins spent his early years in business media and recently left a career in international strategy and development. Although active in his local church, full time ministry was never considered – until he experienced a life changing encounter with Christ, by God confirming His calling upon his life. After much prayer Bowale set his career aside and, in an act of obedience, pioneered a new ministry in downtown Toronto.
Pastor Bowale is a passionate prayer warrior. He has a distinguished grace for anointed prayer, which leads people into the manifest presence of the Holy Spirit. He is a spiritual influencer with a growing global following. Pastor Bowale is a vessel, called to demonstrate the power of Jesus Christ’s authority through healing and deliverance to this generation. He is an instrument in the Kingdom of God, with a mandate to take the good news of Christ to every nation.
Pastor Bowale believes God has restored us in order that we might fulfill our destiny, and this destiny is to manifest the kingdom of God on earth so that He may be glorified.
Tochi Lewis-Asonyen
Director, Mens Ministry
Tochi Lewis-Asonye is a member of the Throne of Grace family and serves as Men’s Ministry Director and the Finance Co-ordinator. He is a finance professional keen to serve the Lord in every sphere and promote the gospel and Kingdom principles in the marketplace.
Born in Lagos Nigeria, Tochi moved to Toronto, Canada in 2005 and is devoted to working in the Lord’s vineyard to help usher in the next move of the Holy Spirit as the Lord pours out his Spirit on all people (Acts 2:17).
No matter how many laurels one attains in the journey through life, there is no greater privilege or position than that of being a child of the Most High God through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Tochi is blessed to carry out the divine ministry of reconciliation back to the Father to which every saint has been assigned.
Katriel Okojie
Director, Music & Worship Ministry
Katriel is the music director of The Seed of Salvation Ministry. She is first, a Lover of God, a worshiper/intercessor.
Katriel feels privileged by God for opportunities to work in God’s Kingdom. She is passionate about the things of God and God’s people.
Katriel is enthusiastic about God’s work and populating the kingdom of God. She is looking forward to constantly winning souls for God through her ministry.
Anai Alith
Director, Media & Administration
Anai serves in the leadership team of the Throne of Grace, as the Director of Media & Administration, Anai provides support in a wide variety of technical and administrative aspects. Being led by the Holy Spirit and equipped by the Lord to be His hands and His feet, Anai strives to share and expand Kingdom Principles with others by means of witnessing and ministering about the goodness of God.
Throughout her life Anai has seen the workmanship of God’s unfailing love and grace through miracles, signs and wonder. For this reason, it is her pleasure to delight in Lord.
Anai’s calling has made her passionate about encouraging others to hope in Christ in all circumstance and have assured confidence “that that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus” Philippians 1:6.
